The Engineer knows the product temperature requirements for each zone. Zone B holds pharmaceutical supplies requiring 4C. The override to 1C was a panic response to a temperature alarm last March and was never reset. Compressor runs 22% harder than necessary for product that does not need it.

PenaltyEight forklifts plugged in at 3PM shift end, with peak tariff running until 8PM.
Forklift charging should happen during off-peak but nobody enforces it. Eight forklifts plugged in at shift end (3PM). The Broker knows your tariff structure and identified that moving charge start to 9PM saves $900/mo with no impact on morning readiness. The operations team never sees the tariff schedule, but the Broker works from it every day.
