Photograph the Panel, Get a Digital Schedule
Take pictures of the panel and its schedule during any visit. The app reads them and builds the digital panel schedule for you: every breaker in its place, named and numbered, ready to edit if anything is off.
This is the only step that happens before the kit ships. The schedule you build here is what the kit is configured against, so the hardware arrives already matched to this exact panel.
Pick the Panels, Map the Loads
With the panels in the app, choose which ones to instrument and tag the loads that matter: the chiller, the rooftop units, the feeders your customer cannot afford to lose.
That map is what turns raw current into named findings later. When a signature drifts, the diagnosis says Chiller 1, not circuit 14, because you told the app what circuit 14 feeds.

The kit arrives with the gateway and the sensors, pre-configured and paired to your site. At the panel, open the app, tap add sensor, and scan the code on the sensor.
The app shows exactly which breaker it belongs to. Clamp it on the live conductor, and it is streaming before the panel cover goes back on. The whole visit is about 15 minutes.

The Gateway Is Already Online
Each gateway ships with its own cellular connection, activated and linked to your site before the box is sealed. Power it up and it reports in. No site Wi-Fi, no customer IT ticket, no network survey.
The Sensors Know Their Place
Because the panel was mapped in the app first, scanning a sensor ties it to a specific breaker and load. The clamp itself takes seconds on a live conductor, with zero downtime.
The Data Is Study-Grade
The kit records true 15-minute interval demand on proven industrial metering hardware, the same class of instrument used in commercial energy audits. Good enough for a submittal, and for a diagnosis.
Questions Contractors Ask About the Kit
Do I pay for the sensors or the gateway?
No. The hardware comes with the study and stays with the subscription. You pay for the study and, if you choose, the monthly services. If a subscription ends, we arrange return of the kit; there is no hardware bill either way.
What is actually in the kit?
A cellular gateway and a set of clamp-on current sensors with voltage taps, sized to the panels you mapped in the app. Everything arrives pre-configured and paired to your site, in one box, ready to install.
Is the metering accurate enough for an NEC 220.87 submittal?
Yes. The kit records continuous 15-minute interval demand on certified industrial metering hardware that has been proven in commercial energy monitoring for years. The report shows the recording window and the intervals themselves, which is what a plan reviewer wants to see.
Does the install require an outage?
No. The current sensors are split-core clamps that go on live conductors, and the voltage taps land in minutes. Any licensed electrician does the whole install in about 15 minutes during a routine visit.
What if a sensor fails or gets damaged?
We ship a replacement, and the app shows exactly which sensor to swap. Scan the new one and it takes over the old position, history intact. There is no charge for failed hardware.
Does the customer need to provide network access or power?
Just a standard outlet or panel supply for the gateway. The cellular link is ours, so nothing touches the customer network and there is nothing for their IT to approve.
